With Sarah Weiler Are you ready to dispel all your limiting beliefs about not being a musician? I have been teaching ukulele to people all over the world for the last 5 years after a chance jamming session in Argentina where I stumbled across this beautiful instrument. It's changed my life - a portable joy and happiness I can take with me anywhere - and I know it will change yours too! Two years ago I set up my company Power of Uke and since then I've taught in over 30 companies including Google, Innocent and Financial Times where I turned even the most resolute non-musicians into headlining rock stars within a matter of hours. I have a 100% success rate of getting anyone to play 4 chords in 5 minutes. This is ukulele but with a twist - we make it fun and cheeky, playing current belters and old time classics - mixing up a bit of 90s RnB with some Sia, some Mumford and Sons with Disney, or perhaps writing our own original number! I'm a qualified secondary school music teacher so there is some serious pedagogy informing every class. And having started with career with 12 year olds I am VERY PATIENT. I love seeing people ''get it'' and feel new found success in their creativity. I've also been writing and performing comedy on the ukulele for the last two years reaching the quarter finals of the Musical Comedy Awards and the Semi Finals of the Funny Women Awards. As well as running workshops and meet ups on the ukulele I organise comedy nights, retreats and DJ. I can't wait to play music with you!
