I have a total passion for dance and have been dancing since I was 3 years old, started of at a stage school and my mum just couldn't keep me of the stage. I became a fully qualified teacher in dance when I was 20 and fitness instructor at 21 with ... dare I say it... Over 25 years teaching experience. I run a dance school min Hull mainly for adults and teach a wide variety of styles of dance from Ballroom & Latin to burlesque and pole. I have also taught a couple of famous celebrities including Abi Titmus pole dance when she was working in my city.
I was trained in Ballroom and Latin with a teacher who is know as the best technician in the UK (Ken Aklrill) and feel I have learned so much from his wisdom in using technical expertise in teaching any style of dance. I love teaching all levels of dance and especially beginners who I know require a lot of patience and care.
In my spare time I have a Greek rescue dog called Stavros whom I love to walk. I also have 3 cats that I share my house with too. In my time teaching I have taught I would say thousands of people who just want to learn to dance socially and also people who have gone on to do it as a career. My motto is 'Don't just dance it, live it!'
